Fairbanks Fiber Festival is an annual community event celebrating all fiber arts including knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, quilting, embroidery, felting, sewing, basketry and more.
Fiber Fest offers opportunities to explore Fairbanks' vibrant fiber arts scene, discover a new craft or hobby, learn about our many local fiber arts organizations and support Alaskan fiber artists.
All are welcome to come enjoy a full weekend of workshops, hands-on demos, an amazing vendor marketplace, educational booths, a fiber tools & equipment sale, delicious food and more!

Shop for used fiber tools & equipment!
Interested in selling your gently used fiber tools or equipment? Anyone can bring items to sell, with 20% of sales supporting the Fiber Festival and 80% going back to the seller!
New or used items are welcome, including but not limited to: spinning wheels, looms, wool carders and combs, spindles, needles, hooks, yarn winders and swifts, etc. No yarn or fiber - tools and equipment only!
Workshops
Workshop registration is OPEN NOW for over 30 workshops in weaving, knitting, spinning, sewing, felting, crochet, embroidery and more! Happening throughout the Festival weekend, as well as the weekend after.

We're excited to be collaborating with Cozy Collective on the 2026 Fairbanks Maker Weekend! With both of our events falling on the same days, we're encouraging everyone to make a weekend of it and visit both!
Be sure to pick up your Fairbanks Maker Weekend Passport at either event, get it stamped at both, then turn it in for a chance to win a basket of handmade gifts, donated from vendors of each event!

Food & Drinks
Bake Sale (Saturday & Sunday Only)
Find the Bake Sale on the 1st floor! Proceeds from the Bake Sale will help support the Festival's production costs! If you'd like to bake something to donate to the sale, please sign up on our volunteer signup form!
Meg's Eats & Treats (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
What's a Fiber Festival without cozy food? Meg will be serving fabulous gyros and more out of the 3rd floor kitchen. Meat & vegetarian options available!
The Crash Cart (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Visit the Crash Cart coffee truck outside in the parking lot, all three days of the Festival! They'll be serving hot & iced espresso drinks made with locally roasted beans, teas, hot apple cider, hot chocolate and more.
Raffle
Tickets $5 each | Drawing is Sunday at 2pm!
Purchase raffle tickets at the Welcome Table for the chance to win an amazing basket of fiber tools, yarn, or items donated by Fiber Fest vendors!
All proceeds support the Fairbanks Fiber Festival and the Fairbanks Weavers & Spinners Guild.
