Workshop Details
In this class, students will practice their long draw spinning skills, and will have the opportunity to learn new techniques like over-the-fold spinning. In this session, spinners can explore different types of fibers (alpaca and silk) and other fiber preparations like tops and braids. Spinners should bring their own fibers to spin.
Session will vary based on the student’s desires.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Prior Skills Needed: Must have attended a prior long draw workshop or already know how to spin long draw
Workshop Fee: $50*
Materials Fee: None ** ** Students must bring their own fiber, a spinning wheel, bobbins, oil and other spinning accessories they choose to have.
