Workshop Details
Learn the basics of weaving! In this class, you will be introduced to weaving on a lap loom, learning how to select yarn for a project, wind a shuttle, weave picks, hemstitch, switch colors as you weave and remove your weaving from the loom.
You will leave with a woven piece of fabric that can be used as a decorative piece, a mug rug, a doll blanket, folded and sewn into a bag, etc.
Date and Time: October 10th, 6pm-7pm. **Open Studio time available for finishing on October 13th and 14th at the Fairbanks Weavers and Spinners Guild from 5pm-6pm.

Age Range: 8 to Adult - children encouraged!
Skill Level/Prior Skills Needed: Beginner - no experience needed
