Exploring Color Through Fair Isle Knitting

This is a multi-day class (see schedule below).

In this class, students will explore the color wheel through the art of Fair Isle stranded colorwork knitting. Students must bring their own needles (any size between US 1.5 to 2.5, either circular or double pointed). A vast selection of colors will be provided, as well as prompts for how to use the power of colors to create patterns that pop in just the way you want them to.

Part 1: November 1st, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Part 2: November 4th, 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm

Part 3: November 9th, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Ester Volunteer Fire Department

Instructors: Susan Willsrud and Christie Shell

Age Range: 12 to Adult

Skill Level: Beginner - must be able to cast on, knit, and purl

Materials Students Must Bring:
