Workshop Details

In this introduction to Fair Isle, you'll learn how to knit with two colors at the same time, how to read pattern charts, create a speed swatch and how to handle floats. We'll also touch on color theory and how to use the color wheel as a tool to choose colors for a project! **


Instructor: Christie Shell


Date and Time: October 2nd, 5pm-8pm

Location: Ester Volunteer Fire Department


Skill Level: Beginner

Prior Skills Needed: Participants should know how to cast on and do the basic knit and purl stitches **


Workshop Fee: $75*

Materials Fee: $15 ** Students must bring their own Size 2 or 2.5 needles - circular or double pointed.
