Workshop Details

In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of hand carding fibers in preparation to spin or weave. There will be a brief demonstration of long-tine viking combs as well.

Students will make their own wool rolags and will get the chance to work with blending silk and alpaca. Students will get to keep the blends they create.

Prior Skills Needed: None


Workshop Fee: $50*

Materials Fee: $10 **

** Students should bring hand cards, if possible. If not, contact instructor to arrange borrowing cards at no extra fee.
