Workshop Details
In this class, students will learn the basics of the supported long draw spinning technique. Students will practice relaxing their grip on fiber to produce a lofty, soft, woolen yarn that practically spins itself!
Students will be instructed in proper body mechanics on both castel and saxony style wheels and will be guided on the rhythmic and joyful flow of long draw spinning.

Skill Level: Any (ages 12 and up)
Prior Skills Needed: Knowledge of how to spin a single
Workshop Fee: $50*
Materials Fee: $20**
