The Art of Bundle Dying: Exploring Botanical Alchemy

In this class, students will learn how to bundle dye using flowers, herbs and plants on a 100% silk bandana. This is a fun and playful natural dye workshop with emphasis on the ecology of color, play, reciprocity and dynamic fiber arts. Participants will learn about the bundle dye method (using heat and steam), and some natural dyeing basics to utilize at home in various capacities.
