Workshop Details
In this class, students will learn to work with fiber from different breeds of sheep from carding and combing to spinning yarn. The class will include discussions of the history of the breeds as well as practical uses for each varying type of wool. Students will take home several small skeins of handspun yarn.

Skill Level: Intermediate **
Prior Skills Needed: Ability to spin and ply
Workshop Fee: $100*
Materials Fee: $75 (Materials include one pound of sheep fiber, 8 to 10 species)
** Students must bring their own spinning wheel
